in this video clip you can watch For a number of years now there has been a major shift in how dancers are beginning to be more recognised for their art and skills and being used to open and close major events. Not so long ago nobody would really pay attention to the dancers as they used to be used as back up performers and in some instances used to make a stage look busy. In the Punjabi wedding field we tend to see dance groups being hired as the main attraction and they are able to also do some stage shows as well as dance to music.
